Our client is an international IT-service-provider with specification on the financial sector based in Vienna.
We have been searching for Senior PM with focus on BIG DATA.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage DWH projects by defining targets, clarifying roles and responsibilities and providing clear direction to achieve expected goals and deliverables
- Take care of the operative detailed planning of the Big Data project implementation including project controlling
- Responsible for delivering expected results in quality, on time and within the budget constraints
- Deal with possible project discontinuities (risk and change management)
- Build, coordinate and lead project team and ensure efficient communication structures between the business partners, the project team and the project environment
- Act as a trusted advisor for managers and staff members in concerned business areas
- Manage IT solution providers (both internally and externally) to deliver specified results
- Escalation body & decision making on Project level in alignment with dedicated Project Manager/Program Manager and other Line Managers
- Leading, coaching and challenging Project staff in a collaborative style, collaboration with all PMs and key staff
- Overall Project planning & controlling focusing on milestones and critical path
- Overall Project Quality, processes, Issues & Risk Management
- Relationship Management to key stakeholders related to the Program and bridging Program interests and escalations with related bodies
- Use and follow standards of the company and the SPRING Program/Project Governance
- Plan resources and capacities of Big Data project work packages on deliverable level
- Request, align availability of resources from line function
Qualifications:
- IT Education (HTL, FH, University)
- Minimum 10 yrs. PM DWH/ Big Data experience
- Banking and/ or IT project management experience required
- Banking experiences in DWH/ Big Data project implementations are necessary
- Certification as PM
- German and English skills C1 or better required
- Have good organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to assess and decompose business and IT processes utilizing a risk and control focus
- Process and solution-orientation, flexible and resilient to perform in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Ability to describe project deliverables in a SMART way
- Travel: around 10% of total time depending on project assignment (i.e. approx. 20days/yr)

Payment is according to your personal qualifications and experience, but is a guaranteed minimum of EUR 50.000, gross annual income based on the official national “Kollektivvertrag” is offered. This figure should be seen a minimum, market based competitive salary is guaranteed.
