You will master these challenges:
- Develop software for all layers of a highly scalable consumer website using Groovy, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript technologies.
- Participate in sprint planning sessions and understand requirements thoroughly.
- Perform analysis, design, coding and unit testing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management and the creative team to understand business requirements.
What you bring to the table:
- You bring professional experience in working in a fast paced, agile team.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development with frameworks like Grails, Rails, Django or similar.
- Experience with jQuery, Bootstrap and mobile first-responsive web design.
- Good communication, analytic and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently, in teams within the office and with colleagues in other countries and time zones.
- Exposure to popular Javascript libraries like JQuery, Angular.js, Backbone.js etc.
- Knowledge of frameworks like Bootstrap is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is a plus.
- You are comfortable communicating in English; German is a plus.
