For a international Insurance in Zurich we are looking for a Data Anylst

The aim of the project where you will work for is to transform the current Sentinel Business Desk services into a platform that can provide an integrated customer risk management tool to the entire Group. This means that GTO will be able to offer a much wider suit of capabilities (e.g., automation of customer risk rating, real-time screening, or automated transaction monitoring) going forward compared to what is currently being offered through the Sentinel tool.

The purpose of this project is to enable and all in-scope Business units to meet the regulatory commitment of detecting, preventing and disrupting financial crime and sanction risks through performing automated checks on relevant individuals and entities in a customer focused, innovative, simplified and timely manner.

The main function of a data analyst is to coordinate a data remediation program with 27 BU(s).

The role will require the candidate to perform:

  • gap analysis
  • requirement mapping
  • apply knowledge of data specification mapping to existing quality challenges

We would require the candidate to:

  • establish the program
  • prepare for mobilisation

The data remediation role will cover 60% of the working time. The remaining 40% the candidate is expected to support the wider Transformation Program Director with program management activities: set up governance, creating presentations, creating project plan etc.

  • Experience in basic modelling, data mapping, requirements gathering, converting requirements to business need, data visualisation and cleaning
  • Good organisational skills to perform project management tasks (change management, stakeholder mapping)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Basic knowledge of database management software. (Excel, Power BI)
  • Language knowledge: Fluent English
