For our client, a bank in Zurich, we are looking forward for a Data Modeller/Architect.
Your tasks will be:
- Modelling logical and physical data model for a Global Financial Data Platform
- Liaise with Business, Data Domain Owners and Central Data Architects as well as Strategic Programs to gather conceptual view on data domains
- Support Data Engineers in implementing load processes to load data into physical model
- Performance and implementation tuning of data access
- Strive to identify re-use potential across different data domains
- Key resource for building up the logical and physical data model of the bank
- Higher education (e.g. “Fachhochschule”,“Wirtschaftsinformatik”)
- Very good design/technical understanding of big data architecture relevant topics across the common part of the data platform (hands-on)
- Good understanding of relational Data Modelling and Technology
- 5-10 years’ experience with Data Architecture
- Expert knowledge of ETL tools on the market
- Hands on Data Governance tools experience (e.g. Collibra, Tableau Prep builder)
- Solid Big Data experience using on-prem or cloud based solutions (Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
- Solid Agile experience in Data related projects
- Experience in large data migration projects
- Python and Spark working knowledge
- Cloudera or similar (Google / MS Azure / AWS)
- Collibra Expert I or II
- Tableau or equivalent BI tools
