Für unseren Kunden, eine Privatbank in Zürich suchen wir einen Senior Java Entwickler für ein langfristiges Projekt mit sehr viel HO (innerhalb der Schweiz).
Ho: Availability for project meetings on site at Vontobel in Zurich, otherwise remote work in CH is possible
Deine Aufgaben:
- Develop software that excites users and let them enjoy the interaction between humans and machine.
- Designing, implementing and testing software solutions in the area of engineering, origination, marketing, lifecycle management and trading financial instruments
- Collaborating closely with the development teams, and business in an agile environment
- Reengineer the existing application to use best-practices architecture and design and bring in advanced technology
- Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems
- Improve CI/CD tools integration, and full pipeline automation
- Guaranteeing flawless application operation
- Taking on support tasks (2nd and 3rd level)
- Strong experience in Application Architecture and Design
- Excellence in Java development skills and frameworks: Java 17/21, Spring/Boot, Spring Data/JPA, Hibernate, OpenAPI/Swagger, SSE/WebSockets Experience with Microservices architecture and design
- Good understanding of messaging solutions like Apache Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
- Routine with OpenShift containerization, Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of distributed in-memory data grids and structures like Hazelcast or Redis
- Experience with data modelling and MS SQL Database
- Experience with lifecycle management tools and IDE: Git, Maven/Gradle, GitHub/Actions, IntelliJ IDEA
- Nice to have knowledge of Elasticsearch
- At least basic development skills in JavaScript and TypeScript/Angular
- Self-motivated and seeking for ownership
- Positive thinking, solution oriented, team-player and hands-on
- Very keen on new technologies
- Willing to engage in a changing and flexible environment, with the ability to question the status quo
- Fluent in English, all other languages like German are a plus
