Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Open Banking API framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
Oversee the transition from file transfer protocols to API-based communication, ensuring minimal disruption to clients
Maintain and enhance the existing secure transport platform to support new API functionalitie
Provide comprehensive support and training to clients during the migration process
Develop and enforce security protocols to safeguard data integrity and privacy
Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system efficiency
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
At least 3 years of experience in API development, implementation, and management, preferably in the financial sector
Strong understanding of Open Banking standards and protocols Experience with secure transport technologies (e.g., SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS)
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and security standards (e.g., GDPR, PSD2)
Experience with Microservices, OpenShift, and Kubernetes (K8s) is preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in English and German
